Sara Baras presents ‘Vuela,’ a tribute show to Paco de Lucía, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Sara Baras Flamenco Ballet, her company.
The dancer embarks on this touching tribute to the unparalleled guitar genius, Paco de Lucía. Conceived with respect, affection, and the love that both artists shared, this show has been meticulously crafted to be unforgettable and transport us once again to the magical universe that only Sara Baras can create.
On this occasion, facing the responsibility of paying tribute to the genius from Algeciras, this choreographic journey consists of 15 unique pieces, each revolving around a word, giving life to a constantly moving language.
This captivating journey unfolds in four acts, each weaving a powerful narrative. “Madera” (Wood), reminding us of the strength of our roots and the warmth within us. “Mar” (Sea), inviting us to sail with passion and flow like water. “Muerte” (Death), a way to explore human emotions from the deepest depths. “Volar” (Fly), the only way to escape without running, simply letting ourselves be carried away by celebration and joy: an opportunity that only music, dance, and emotions can offer us.
