Eduard Fernández returns to the theatre with A View from the Bridge playing Eddie Carbone, a honest Italian worker who is obsessed with the devastating passion he feels for the niece that he and his wife adopted when she became an orphan. This unsustainable situation will surpass him and end up destroying him. However, in the words of the play’s director, “Eddie Carbone…agrees to sacrifice everything, even life, to satisfy himself”.
Arthur Miller, one of the most important 20th century playwrights who revolutionised American theatre with plays such as “Death of a Salesman”, “All my Sons” or “The Salem Witches”, won his second Pulitzer Prize with A View from the Bridge.
It is directed and staged by Georges Lavaudant, a renowned French actor and director, famous for his creative, sober and highly visual large format staging, which has been seen all over the world.
