The Teatro Arriaga once again offers a grand musical spectacle this summer: Mamma Mia!, the great musical featuring the unforgettable music of the Swedish group ABBA.

The new production of *Mamma Mia!* boasts spectacular sets, costumes, and original choreography, along with renewed lyrics and musical arrangements. The musical has already captivated over 800,000 spectators in three successful seasons in Madrid’s Gran Vía, where every day feels like a real celebration. The show is based on 23 major hits from ABBA, immortal songs such as “Dancing Queen,” “Gimme Gimme Gimme,” “Chiquitita,” “The Winner Takes It All,” as well as “Voulez Vous,” “S.O.S,” “Super Trouper,” “Thank You for the Music,” and more. *Mamma Mia!* is the musical comedy that no one can avoid singing, dancing, and getting emotional to. Additionally, its story is a tribute to mothers and daughters, to love, and to old friends, making it a musical for all ages and audiences, perfect for couples, groups of friends, or families.

This production is from ATG Entertainment, which has teamed up with SOM Produce, responsible for other successful musicals at the Teatro Arriaga, such as *Priscilla Queen of the Desert*, *West Side Story*, and *Chicago*, among others. The quality of the production, along with the public’s enthusiasm, has earned recognitions such as the Best Choreography award at the Musical Theatre Awards.

Synopsis
Donna is an independent single mother who runs a small hotel on an idyllic Greek island. She has raised her daughter Sophie alone, who is about to get married. Without anyone knowing, Sophie reads her mother’s diary and discovers three lovers: three possible fathers! To end her uncertainty, Sophie decides to invite them to the wedding. Chaos is guaranteed when Donna’s best and oldest friends show up. These reunions make us laugh and move us equally.

On stage, Donna, Tania, Rossie, Sophie, Sky, the “three possible fathers,” and the 27 cast members tell the funniest and most heartwarming story of all time in musicals.
