Let’s work from the real world and focus on men who strive to be better. The characters in this play belong to a MALE CIRCLE. Spread throughout cities all over the country, these Circles are solid associations of men who aspire to equality, rejecting the constricts of the patriarchy. They meet up to reflect, critique their actions and set up a support group for the feminist cultural transformation that they aspire to. They go unnoticed. They prefer to work silently, making a quiet change. They get together to talk, laugh and cry, and we join them.
