‘At a certain village whose name I’d rather remember.’ This could have been the beginning of the play. Through a vibrant and dynamic interior monologue that gives shape to a plot where there is no room for narrative simplicity, the author tells the story of a guardian angel, a bodyguard, in a certain village.
The plot takes the audience along the paths of the mind of a man who has turned into the shadow of a professor living under the threat of terrorism. The peculiar relationship with his protégé, marked by cultural differences, is connected to existential doubt, sweet memories of family, and unrewarding differences that help the professor survive in a society that feels alien.
