The alleged murder committed by Marcos, a high school student, is the starting point of an investigation that, through his friends and classmates, allows us to explore his fears, dreams and concerns. The young characters in this novel by Fernando J. López, finalist for the Nadal Prize in 2010, take centre stage in this realistic yet poetic portrait of their whole generation.
The theatre production of “La edad de la ira”, written for La Joven Compañía by the author himself, offers us a radically different perspective with regard to the original novel: a production in which the teenagers are the sole protagonists and which emerged as a hymn to difference and the free and valiant search for our identity.
