Krego-Martin Danza, the joint project between María Martín and Judit Ruiz, offers us an interesting proposal. The piece entitled “Discomfort Zone”, is immersed in the state of concern and the feeling of discomfort felt by humans when they feel exposed and vulnerable.
When you dream that you are in underwear in the middle of the street, trying to pretend and believe that you merely have a slight stomach cramp…you wish to have a routine and normal day, but your breathing becomes agitated, your gaze fixed, your neck rigid…you feel vulnerable and you are inevitably immersed in this uncomfortable place. How do you handle this situation as you become more aware of your body feelings? Do you try to ally yourself with them, project this discomfort, combat the phenomenon, escape, freeze…?
