A fifty-year old man appears on stage, and without any preamble he embarks on an intimate, entertaining and moving speech. He explains that the recent death of his father has pierced right through his life to the very core. Astonished by the magnitude of this event, which he was unable to imagine previously, he wishes to share publicly the itinerary of his first forty days of mourning.
Everything seems to be under control when, suddenly, almost without realising it, the monologue shifts towards a different terrain. Blackness and tragedy take over the stage in a movement of growing desperation and vertigo until, suddenly, a mysterious appearance takes place, hard to define, which sets in motion the final denouement. This production carries the quality seal of the Centro Dramático Nacional.
