In the first half of the 20th century, the music of Central Europe very distinctly influenced the cultural industry of Hollywood. Artists from the dissolved Austro-Hungarian Empire poured their creativity into film, and operettas were reborn on American soil. In his mother tongue, Botond Ódor sings the songs of composers who were the seed of this cultural explosion, as well as some in English by Hungarian composers who flourished and formed part of this American dream. Accompanied by the renowned pianist Ruben Fernandez Aguirre and the narrator Lucia Astigarraga, they set the socio-cultural context through the narrative of writers and humanists of the time.
