Concha Piquer has long awaited meeting Federico García Lorca. Not for nothing is he the most sought-after poet of the time and she the most famous singer in Spain. This meeting is a must. A woman accustomed to managing her destiny and never receiving no for an answer, asks her collaborator, Rafael de León, to summon the poet to the Teatro Español in Madrid, where she is rehearsing her new show. She wants to ask him to write her a song.
This storyline, this fictional idea not so far removed from a possible reality, an encounter that never took place but that, without doubt, would have been unforgettable, is the raison d’être to pay tribute to two great artists of the early twentieth century Spain: Concha Piquer and Federico García Lorca. And on stage, the superb singer Diana Navarro, in her theatrical debut, uses her prodigious voice to recreate the great Concha Piquer through her songs, perfectly accompanied by Alejandro Vera (Federico García Lorca) and Avelino Piedad (Rafael de León).
