Two brothers meet again in the attic of their parents’ house. They have not talked in years. The house is being torn down. Víctor, a policeman with a modest income, and his wife, Esther, have called Walter, the elder brother, who is a successful surgeon. They have to fix the prices of the old furniture in the house.
Arthur Miller has turned an obsession into a gift: bringing to light what we hide deep inside. He is like a surgeon, cutting into the innermost folds of the decisions we make and inevitably showing our deepest and most revealing side. His plays are like a mirror where we look at ourselves, trying to understand why things are the way they are.
