PREMIERE: ARRIAGA THEATRE
Shown here are the fragments of a destiny, of a condemned man who we see through televised antisepsis among flocks of journalists, escorted by police, handcuffed and a garment covering his head, fleetingly, in the time it takes to get into the car that takes him away from the courthouse and the news media.
Seeking essentiality, we have entered the solitude of the “monster”, opening up that gash between his instinct and his pain, giving the stage the dimension of his consciousness;, the public peering into the depths of his darkness, into those black pits where a flash of light might appear in the unfathomableness of madness, in the throbbing wound that all poetry releases.
