The ephemeral nature of life. The dead are not only those who have died but also those who have lived without passion. The fragility of humanity, looking back, lost love, passion… everything intermingles in this free adaptation of a story set in Dublin in 1900, but which nonetheless is astonishingly close and familiar to us today.
Adaptation based on the collection of short stories Dubliners, by James Joyce, and fundamentally on the last story: ‘The dead. The Irish author, one of the biggest names in 20th Century universal literature, created a special air of mystery in his masterpiece that, interestingly, has not been staged very often.
