Coro de niños y niñas de la Coral de Bilbao por los Derechos de la Infancia

The Children’s Choir of the Choral Society of Bilbao presents a very special concert devoted to children: a commitment to Children’s Rights through Music.

In critical situations, the most vulnerable are always children, who suffer the devastating effects of war and the unfair situations that are abound on our planet. Music as a bond of solidarity not only turns the participating children into artists but also into solidarity agents.

The concert programme will be focused on works revolving around childhood, musical compositions that feature children, either due to the theme or because children are the intended audience.

The French Lycee Choir of Bilbao, of which José Luis Ormazábal is also the conductor, will participate in part of the concert alongside the Children’s Choir of the Choral Society of Bilbao. Over 200 participants will call for the “Children’s Rights” approved by the United Nations.
