A spectacle that combines the powerful music of Carl Orff with the universe of La Fura.
La Fura dels Baus has conceived a thrilling Carmina Burana, where the audience, through impactful scenes, special effects, and even fragrances, immerses themselves in the intense and exciting atmosphere of Carl Orff’s music.
On stage, a ten-meter diameter cylinder envelops the orchestra, while images projected onto it illustrate the work from beginning to end. A giant moon, thawing, waterfalls, a floral ecstasy, a live grape harvest, wine, water, and fire… La Fura dels Baus’s Carmina Burana is a sensory, musical, and theatrical spectacle, vibrant and energetic, which has already been seen by over 410,000 spectators in Europe, Asia, and America.
