Her unique husky voice is powerful but also brings a certain tenderness that touches the heart. She has performed all around the world. In 2014 alone, she visited Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and Latin America, including Mexico.
She works without limits, a fact that is reflected in the variety of her collaborations with musicians, DJs, and singers in multiple languages including Pat Metheny, Anoushka Shankar, Chick Corea, Niño Josele, Marisa, Bebo and Chucho Valdes, Charles Aznavour, Luz Casal, Seal, Armando Manzanero and Nelly Furtado.
Over the course of her career, she has released albums such as “Mestizüo” (2001), “Buika” (2005), the trilogy produced by Javier Limón, “Mi niña Lola” (2006), “Niña de Fuego” (2008), “El último trago” (2009), as well as “En mi piel” (2011) and a CD anthology. Her latest album, “La noche más larga”, was released in June 2013.
