PREMIERE: ARRIAGA THEATRE
Antonia is born from the desire to know – why remember? what for? how? and what? As Lorca said, death lurks and not remembering is death.
What happens to someone or to a people who lose their memory? Is memory identity? Where is the founding story?
The play is an incision that is made in a writer’s brain in order to know his story, and that of his characters. It is a journey between memories, between past and present, between reality and fiction. It is the search for his story and for our own.
